Friends of Friends Fighting Hunger in Otter Tail County
FARGO, N.D. – R.D. Offutt Company has donated a total of $26,000 to this Feeding Backpack program since 2009
Friends of Friends Fighting Hunger in Otter Tail County started in 2008 with a hope to make an impact within our local community. This program is designed to provide nutritious and easy-to-prepare food for children likely at-risk of hunger to take home and consume on the weekends and school vacations when other resources are not available. The distribution of food is anonymous and discreet, providing nutrition in easily accessible and safe environments.
So far this year, distributions exceeding $70,000 were given to Otter Tail County Food Pantries, Food Drops and Feeding Backpack Programs.
